Our Story
Diwan Al-Nashama grew from a simple belief: that Jordanian families in Southern California deserved more than a once-a-year gathering. A group of founding families in Anaheim started a Thursday majlis in 2009 — cardamom coffee, dates, and conversation in someone's living room. Fifteen years later, that living room became a community of 250 members across 8 cities.
To preserve Jordanian culture, honor the nashmi code, and build a living bridge between the land our grandparents left and the country our children are growing up in. The club is not religious, not political — it is a heritage house open to anyone who loves what Jordan stands for.
No guest leaves hungry. The house is always open.
Integrity without an audience. Character before reputation.
To family, to community, to the land across the ocean.
